New Beginnings

So, it has been a very long while since I last updated. Life has been...interesting....

Me and my new attitude! Actually, it's just a new haircut.

One thing that happened, and needed to for a long time, is that I finally sought help for my depression. I seriously couldn't function any more and I was miserable of being miserable. I had some pretty dark moments, wicked thoughts, and a lack of care or concern for myself. I am seeing a counselor and working on some self-worth issues, trying to change my diet, and taking care of my needs, even if it is only for 5 minutes or so. For the first time in a VERY long time, colors are colorful. I know that sounds weird, but they had been looking gray. Now, not so much-it is amazing! I still have days, but I am learning how to change my perception of myself and that it is okay to NOT BE PERFECT!

The Boys got through school and are glad it is summer. Jack is ready for first grade, Stephen is ready for preschool, and Nicholas is ready to be Mama's cuddle bug.

Saying Goodbye
Sadly, we lost our Rocky on Easter due to poisoning. He was our first "baby," and we will always miss him. Happily, though, we were able to welcome a new member to our family, another Boxer puppy we named, Howard. Howard is precocious and it reminds us of having a newborn again, but we love him.

New Baby, Howard
We began a remodel of our house. Haven't taken pictures yet, so I will get some up when I get a chance.

I finsihed two more classes for my masters and  have only three left. I am so stoked.

Me and my Man!  10 Years!
Finally, Jim and I went on our long awaited Anniversary Cruise and it was a dream vacation! I cannot wait to do it again! I will do an entire post about it, so in the meantime enjoy a picture of me and my man!

Love to all!
